What are the basics of a food diet?

We had seen in our previous topic of “How to get a good physique without going to gym” the way to get a muscular body without going to a gym. Here, we are again on an interesting topic of the basics to how you can get the complete nutrition from your desired food.
We all take up the commitment and allow ourselves to eat healthily and follow a non-junk regime. But are we reflecting on our diet that whether we are getting the complete desired nutrition from our salad bowl? If this makes you think on it here is your complete education on how and when to eat some foods to get their complete nutrition.

Opposite foods

This is something we all fall into until our body gives a burst and indicates that we are doing something wrong. There are some foods which are healthy, but if they are consumed with any wrong product, they can do more harm than benefits. They are listed as follows-:
1) Milk and Bananas

According to Ayurveda, this combination can be very heavy to be digested and even toxic for the gut. It slows down the metabolism transporting your maximum body oxygen for the digestion of this food.

2) Tomatoes and Cucumbers

Yes, you saw that right. This cannot be considered as a healthy combination as the rates of their digestion are different and can confuse the body creating problems like weaker digestion and gastric problems.

3) Citrus foods and Milk

This combination can be a very toxic one for all the health lovers. Yes, fruits like oranges and lemons are not supposed to be consumed with milk as it tears down their goodness and creates severe gastric problems.

4) Oatmeal or Cereal with Citrus foods or Milk

This one can create gastric and digestive problems. And it should be avoided.

This would be an awesome treat unless you found that it wasn’t a right combination. It can create gastric diseases, acidity and damage our digestion.
So, now we are aware of foods that are bad as combination though they are healthy -individually. Others like eggs with milk, cheese potatoes, yogurt, cheese with any fruits or yogurt can also make you unhealthy rather boosting your health.

Now let’s discuss some foods that are low on calories and use more calories from your body for their digestion. They are called negative calorie foods. Here is a list of some foods.

1) Celery

Rich in fibers, Vitamin C & A, and folic acid.
It contains 16 calories per 100 grams.

2) Tomatoes

Rich in fiber, potassium, and vitamin C. Protects from UV rays. It contains 19 calories per 100 grams.

3) Cucumbers

It is the favorite choice for people who want to get slim. Very hydrating, packed with minerals and electrolytes. It contains 16 calories per 100 grams.

4) Broccoli

High among antioxidants and anti-cancer properties. It contains 34 calories per 100 grams.


Rich in fiber, vitamin B and folate. It contains only 6 calories per 100 grams.

6) Apples

There is a famous saying, “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” It is rich in fibers and contains 50 calories per 100 grams.

7) Carrots

Rich in Vitamin C, A, K, and manganese. They also deal with hypertension issues.
It contains 41 calories per 100 grams.

Here are some negative calorie foods. Zucchini, grapefruit, berries, and cabbage are also low on calories.
