  1. Our eyes have opened when we look towards Food Waste

People waste a lot of food because they get an ample amount of it. People who waste food do not look towards hungry people who don’t even get two proper meals for a day. We have learned to avoid food wastage during this lockdown as we have a limited stock of it.

  2. Never take anything for granted

For most of the people, life was like on “auto” mode where it was scheduled to have breakfast, go to work, meet with certain people, sit in the cafeteria, have lunch with your gang, make some calls, and so on. People took everything for granted as it used to happen daily, but this lockdown taught us the real value of it. Even if it is a small hug from that special person, we have started to value it with time.

  3. Appreciating small things

No one had the time to sit and ponder upon small things like watching a bird, enjoying the sunset, taking out time for themselves, and several other things for peace of mind. When we had nothing to do, we took out time for ourselves and noticed every single thing around us. We saw how beautiful life could be. We learned to appreciate small things around us.

  4. Value of family and friends

grayscale-photography-of-four-women-wearing-clothes-1065081Today’s generation spends more time with friends than with family. We take those people for granted whom we love the most. We realized how amazing it could be to listen to some old stories of your parent’s life and gain knowledge from their experiences. We discovered that calls and video calls are like the best ways to stay connected with your lovely friends. The call that lasted only for a few minutes now lasts for hours and hours.

  5. Curb indiscriminate spending

Now, even if we have money, but we don’t have a place to go and eat street food. People have been able to keep control of their spendings as there was nothing open to purchase.

  6. We can live without street food and visiting cafes or restaurants

This is a very big thing that everyone realized who used to spend a hell amount of time visiting cafes or restaurants and wasting a lot of money every single day. People are adopting home-cooked foods, homemade coffee, and also trying out different foods for themselves.

  7. Creativity and Productivity

We have realized that this is the time of our life to explore ourselves in the best manner and do every creative and productive thing that can enhance our skills or satisfy our lives.
